As a single young female living in the remote North West, away from family: I was initially

hesitant to build my own home. The thought of committing to, and planning something so

huge, and of which I had absolutely no understanding was extremely daunting to me;

especially as I did not want to settle for anything less than a double story plan to take

advantage of the location.

I drew up my dream home and took my ideas to a few builders before I met up with Mark (of

"Deciding who to build your home is a big decision and we are so pleased that we chose Exmouth Building Company. After meeting Mark and looking attheir houses in progress, my husband Ashley and I felt very confident they would do a good job.

Being able to look through previous clients homes was great as we saw the final build and the quality of workmanship but it also gave us confidence that Exmouth Building would deliver on what they promised. They maintain good relationships with their clients, otherwise people would not be so willing to open their doors so readily.

I also did not want to spend thousands on an architect drawing up plans to find the build would cost far beyond my budget. It was invaluable to have Mark design the house for us as we could make changes and amend previous designs to get exactly what we wanted.

This is the fourth house we have built and it was by far the easiest and also the best finished. I was particular about what I wanted in the house (and changed my mind a few times on various things) and Mark always responded cheerfully and promptly to my stream of calls and emails.

Living in Perth, I had great confidence that Mark and his team were doing a good job and I was always kept informed as to how our home was progressing. Even after the house was handed over, they were still happy to fix things for me, hang safety gates and even my wall clock – I don’t know of any other builders who do that!

"EBC built our holiday home on Madaffari Drive in 2014. Having built investment properties before we were familiar with the building process. Mark at EBC was very professional but at the same time took into consideration our ideas of what we wanted in a holiday home. He then took our ideas and adapted one of their standard plan homes to fit our brief at no extra cost. This made the whole process more personal and enjoyable. The home was completed within the estimated time frame and all stages of work were finished to a good standard.

"Immediately we knew Mark Manuel and Exmouth Building Company was the company to build our dream home on the canals.

Being builders in the wheat belt we know how many changes can take place during building and wanted to choose someone with a “can do” attitude. EBC did not disappoint. Their professional and quality workmanship together with an easy go nature suited us to a tea. We found all of their staff to be friendly, professional and very efficient. From helping with permits, lot layout, customising home plans and personalising features they were always right there. We first approached Mark in 2012 and after much planning decided to finally build in 2015. If we had of known how smooth the building process with EBC was going to be we would have built sooner. "We recently completed our new build with Exmouth Building & Design and cannot recommend Mark and his team highly enough!

The initial design process was a breeze, based on early conversations Mark understood exactly what we wanted and was very patient with us as we went through different drafts of the floor plan.

We were lucky enough to be renting next door and got to watch our dream house go up every step of the way. This could have been off putting for the guys working onsite but they were always friendly & very tolerant of our toddlers saying hello several times a day, asking them questions or wandering in unannounced.

The whole experience was fun and exciting, everything building a family home should be!
